Hello and welcome. I’m Rob Coote, author of Network Canuck. I have over 15 years of varied System Administration experience, including design and support of networks, server virtualization, storage, and general technical support. In these roles I have worked for large multinational contact centers, public education institutions, and as a private consultant for retail, financial, construction, and agricultural organizations.
My key focus over the last 8 years or so has been in networking and virtualization. I have a number of industry certifications including the CCNA, CCNA-Voice, and have one exam left to complete my CCNP. I also have my VCP5-DCV from VMware as well as a number of the VCA certifications they offer. Future plans include completion of the VCP-NV as well as the mighty task of challenging the CCIE.
I am a Cisco Champion, having been selected with the inaugural group in 2014 and re-joining again in 2015.
I am a gamer, a reader, and enjoy spending any spare time I have with my amazing wife and our two sons.
